Are you ready for winter?
All summer long I cut firewood. I stacked it. I sorted it. I dreamed about making fires when the weather got colder. So here we are; on the cusp of winter. Ahhh!
Some hot tea-a good book-a glowing hearth. I wonder how cold it will get this winter? Will we have lots of snow like last winter?
Recently I spoke with Bill Felker about the upcoming season. Bill creates “Poor Will’s Almanack” (the radio show) on WYSO (91.3fm), and he has just published the 2011 edition of “Poor Will’s Almanack” (the book).
You can hear my conversation with Bill Felker tomorrow (Friday) at 1:30pm on WYSO. It will air again on Sunday at 11am.
