George W. Bush is #1
As the Texas Rangers went down to defeat in the World Series this past week TV viewers on FOX were provided with frequent glimpses of former President George W. Bush sitting in the front row right behind the San Francisco Giants’ on-deck circle. As the Rangers faded away and eventually were eliminated on their home field viewers could observe Mr. Bush as he agonized over the pending defeat of the Rangers, a team that Bush once owned, at least in part. He sold his minority stake before he launched his run for the governor’s seat in Texas.
One can assume that the bitter taste of that defeat is fading quickly for Mr. Bush. While his beloved Rangers lost he has observed some major gains by his Republican party in Tuesday’s election. And he has a new book coming out. His memoir “Decision Points” will be issued next week.
His publisher gambled on the timing and it seems to be paying off. Many readers apparently want to read his book. It is currently the top selling book on Amazon.com.
Next week Mr. Bush will be in the Dayton area for an event to mark the publication of his memoir. He will be at Wright Patterson Air Force Base on November 11. For additional information on his Dayton event click HERE:

Before they appeared in the golf cart I’m guessing that W was pumping some warm up tosses down in the tunnel. He winged that first pitch right into Nolan Ryan’s glove. He put a little Texas hot sauce on that pitch!

The crowd in Texas was excited to see the Bush’s at the World Series. H.W. and W drove out on the field to a very warm welcome.

Still bashing the Tea Baggers, eh? It’s a good thing there are more intelligent voters than there are buffoons in Ohio, or we could be stuck with more of the lying, backstabbing Liberals. To answer your question, The Tea Baggers didn’t need to call upon Bush to campaign for them. After all, they had that Idiot Barack Obama out campaigning for them all over the Country. Every time he spoke, reasonably intelligent people cringed. He has been the best thing that has happened to the Republicans since the Republicans had slavery abolished.

Gee, I wonder if he made up some new English words for his book. he was great at making them up while speaking as President. Why didn’t all these TEA BAGGERS have him out campaigning for them during the elections????

Page Turner, the publisher set that publication date over a year ago. The Republican surge evident this past Tuesday was not guaranteed when they set that date. By setting the publication date right after this election the publisher was gambling that a possible Republican surge might lift numerous conservative boats, including this Bush memoir. And that’s exactly what has transpired. This book would not be selling like it is without that surge. As Mr. Bush was always fond of saying; the SURGE worked…

The timing of this book release was very deliberate: to avoid bringing Mr. Bush’s record to the fore during the midterm elections and well ahead of the next presidential election. And to release it before Christmas! How is that a gamble by the publisher, Vick?
