“Life” by Keith Richards will be released tomorrow. This memoir by the Rolling Stones guitarist is generating some major buzz. The book is already #1 in sales on Amazon.com. There was great piece about it yesterday in the New York Times. Richards will be featured this week in a radio interview on Fresh Air.
Johnny Depp will be recording the audiobook version of “Life”.
I can’t wait to read it!

I’ve listened to the first chapter and Jones gets mentioned only in passing. Johnny Depp does a wonderful job of reading the book in his best pirate voice. Warning: this book references drugs constantly….

Who would of imagined, back in the 70’s, that Keith would have survived this long? Could it be that Heroin, Jack Daniels and cigarettes are really the secret to longevity?

As a Stones fan, I am looking forward to reading this book. I’ve read that he needed to get some help from friends to piece together some lost years in the 70’s. The drug abuse friend his memory I guess.
