My interview with Lee Child

Lee Child’s latest Jack Reacher thriller, “61 Hours” came out this week. Hopefully, you read my review of it which ran this past Sunday.

After I penned my review I had the rare opportunity to interview Lee Child. Years ago when he was still a relative unknown I had an interview with him. He has sold about 30 million books since then so he’s a bit tougher to schedule these days.

My interview will air tomorrow morning at 10:30 on WYSO Public Radio (91.3fm) in Yellow Springs.

I hope that you can tune in…

I have attempted to find your review of 61 Hours and can’t pull up the review for May 16. There is no easy way to find things here.

Transcribe it?! Sorry, I don’t have that kind of time. But you should be able to hear the archived audio on the WYSO website at www.wyso.org. If you cannot locate it drop them an e-mail and ask if it is posted yet.

I did not listen because I read this blog entry too late, and that sucks big time. You tease. I love Lee Child and his “no baggage” Jack. Why don’t you take a couple of days and transcribe your interview, then post it here? I’d do it for you but I’m busy posting comments on DDN blog sites.

It was a good interview. The ‘Jack’ character sounds interesting. (The symbolism of ‘no baggage’ is envy evoking.) If I was a thriller reader, I’d fetch me this one. Just wanted you to know I listened.
