What kinds of things do you collect?
I’m a collector. I have collections. Some “normal” kinds of things; lots of books, old baseball cards, old stamps, record albums. Then I have stuff that is a bit unusual.
I have been taking an inventory of some of my things on these quiet snowy days. Pulling out this and that. Deciding what to keep. What to stop collecting. Clearing some space.
I have a collection of masks. Most of them were made by indigenous people in Mexico. I’ve got some old razor blades from the 1930’s still sealed in their packages.
I’m wondering what kinds of things other people collect. How about you? What do you collect? Leave a comment. I’m curious.

I collect Beatles memorabilia. Anything Beatles and I’m in. Also coins. Old gold and silver. St. Gauldens, Morgans, Peace dollars, walking/flowing halves… Anything pre 1964. All must be at least MS69 or better. Also silver eagles, MS70 or better. Have quite a large pocketknife collection, mostly old or antique. I collect a lot of junk, according to my GF. Oh well.

Shriner memorabilia. I love the Fez’s, the swords, figurines, and above all, Shriner liquor decanters (specially when they are full of liquor).

and I have “1” potato chip with a cross hollowed in the center, but I am not certain if that constitutes a ‘collection’ (yet) but it is somehow special to me. In fact, I took it out of it’s sealed container and photographed it early Tuesday on a red background— (just in case it eventually crumbles)

Naval lint. It takes up very little space and you don’t have to dust it.

I’m embarrassed to say other than books, I collect unicorns. I guess I decided to never grow up. I also have about 1000 vinyl record albums.
