The book on A-Rod…
On May 12 Selena Roberts will publish her book A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez. Talk about perfect timing. That is right about the time that baseball star Alex Rodriguez might be seeing his first action of the season with the New York Yankees. A-Rod has been recovering from surgery on his hip.
According to published reports, A-Rod’s former golden boy image might be tarnished even further if the allegations in this new book prove to be based on truth. The long and short of it? A-Rod might be cheater and a liar. Gasp! To read more click HERE:

Followers of the game know all to well of A-Rods transgressions and those of a few others. I long for the “Vichy”-like collaberators of Bud Seligs’ regime to give us complete disclosure of the entire list of offenders. This is another trickle down, trickle out, strategy that only prolongs the damage. The only way fans can begin the recovery process is to get ALL the participants out in the open. That includes the the owners and the overly praised, “Commish”, himself. Enough already. We need another Judge Landis.By Mark Gisleson

A-Rod is a NYYankee, therefore I am absolutely positive he’s never done ‘roids. The growth hormone I believe, however, because it’s a well known fact that he was only 5’4” when he played for the Rangers.By vick

TAMPA - “Alex Rodriguez said “I’m not going there” when asked about excerpts of a new book by Selena Roberts which appeared in the New York Daily News today which reveals that the Yankee slugger may have taken steroids as far back as high school and that he was taking human growth hormone while with the Yankees. “I’m not going there,” said Rodriguez, wearing a blue T-shirt and blue warm up pants as he left the Yankees’ minor league complex early this afternoon. “I’m so happy about being back on the field and playing baseball. My team has won two games up there. Hopefully I can come back and help them win more.” The excerpts revealed that Rodriguez had developed rounded pectorals, called gynecomasta, which according to what Roberts wrote is a sign of anabolic steroid use. She also quotes an unnamed player who indicated Rodriguez and Kevin Brown took human growth hormone in 2004.” (The Boston Globe-April 30, 2009)By AuthorAuthor

A Major League athlete on steroids? Why Vick, that’s tantamount to a journalist or an author using a dictionary. Shame, I say … Shame, shame on them!
