fearless predictions
Baseball season was about to begin last March when I made the prediction that THE RED SOX WILL WIN THE WORLD SERIES.
I’ll stand by that prediction.
Back in June when the Antioch University Board of Trustees announced that they would be closing Antioch College at the end of this current academic year I made the prediction that ANTIOCH COLLEGE WILL NOT BE CLOSING.
I stand by that prediction.
The jury is still out on the World Series. We’ll know that outcome fairly soon, possibly by tonight.
The jury is also still out on Antioch College. We should know the outcome quite soon, perhaps by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Which merely goes to show that ya gotta believe!!
There will be books written about this World Series. Here’s one more prediction: this Antioch College saga will make for an incredible book. I wonder who will write it??

It remains to be seen if this clemency for Antioch College was predicated upon selling out to Antioch University. It is quite interesting that in today’s DDN it was announced that the Antioch radio station, WYSO is talking about a “merger” with WMUB and WDPR…interesting timing don’t you think??By vick mickunas

Finally, the other shoe drops as it was announced today that Antioch College will NOT be closing after all….go RED SOX! Go ANTIOCH COLLEGE!By vick mickunas

actually, Mark…I have picked the Red Sox to win for the past 4 years. They won in 2004 and again this year so I’m 2 for 4. That’s a .500 batting average….By Mark from St Paul

The Red Sox treated Colorado like Pet Rocks…they played with them for awhile and now the dog has taken those Pet Rocks outside to bury them. One prediction down. Now, on to Antioch College. Will it close? Or, will the Antioch University Board of Trustees realize what is really going on here and commute the death sentence they put on the College in June? I say they come to their senses and restore Antioch College. We’ll know soon….By Alexandra
