OJ did it

00021241_OJ_Simpson200.jpg

(Los Angeles Police Dept.)

Poor OJ Simpson. He has been arrested in a robbery of sports memorabilia at a Las Vegas casino. Don’t you feel sorry for him?

Poor OJ, his book, IF I DID DID IT was the top-selling book on Amazon.com but it just got bumped by former Fed Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan’s memoir. Now he’s down to number 2.

Poor OJ. Do you think that he did it?

I’m referring to the robbery.

I’m just waiting for the “race card” to be played. Whenever a famous (or not so famous) black man makes the news for something “he said he didn’t do”…the whities are called racist and are trying to bring the black man down. I’ll just sit back, relax and wait for that to come next.

The problem was the ineptness of the judge and jury that did serve in the O.J.Simpson murder trial. Lance Ito should have been replaced as judge when it became clear almost immediately that he was so starstruck at having celebrities in his courtroom he was no longer able to perform his duties. And the jurors were more interested in trying to rectify unfairness towards African Americans over the entire history of American jurisprudence than in weighing the evidence in this particular trial. With any luck, the law enforcement and judicial officials involved in his armed robbery case will be more proffessional and will be able to finally put this murderous thug in prison where he has belonged for the last thirteen years.

Perhaps you have forgotten that OJ was sued by the Goldman family and he was ordered to pay a multi-million dollar judgement to the family. That case was decided in a civil court by a judge. OJ hasn’t cooperated with that decision and has hidden his assets to avoid paying that judgement. OJ lost that case yet he has been mocking the Goldman Family ever since. It was their son who was murdered, not OJ. So when you say “it is strange that we only believe in the legal system when it agrees with our way of thinking” you must not be recalling that particular legal judgement by an American court? A decision that OJ clearly lost.

I THINK IT IS STRANGE WHEN WE ONLY BELIEVE IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM WHEN IT AGREES WITH OUR WAY OF THINKING. IF OJ WAS YOUR SON AND HE WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY WOULD YOU AGREE WITH THOSE THAT STILL WANT TO SURVE AS JUDGE AND JURY ? HOW DARE YOU!

I think we have to ask ourselves why he would do something so stupid. Perhaps his conscience (if he has one) is finally getting to him and he subconsciouslly wanted to get caught? Or he just got cocky.

How many times is he going to be “above the law”. How long are the “rich and famous” going to waste our money by going to court?

I think that it will be ironic if he goes to jail for robbery, but was set free for murder.
