Get involved in a Christmas Bird Count!
Blog by: Katy Malcolm
The Dayton Audubon Society Christmas Bird Count is coming up on December 27th. This is a tradition that was started in 1900. The Christmas bird count will be happening in 12 locations across Dayton and anyone is welcome to participate. Visit http://www.dayton.net/audubon/warbler.htm for background information and contacts. They are a great deal of fun and contribute a great deal to our knowledge of bird population patterns and shifts.
