A Visit From…

Although the checkered white is a visitor to our area keep an eye open for this butterfly. It is often confused with the cabbage white. See the pictures below the first is the cabbage white the second is the checkered white. Notice the checkered white has a dark “checkered pattern on the wing. The cabbage white has small dark spot on the wing with a dark band on the tips.
