pollinators

Memorial Weekend is a good time to get out and work in the garden. Why not add some plants that will attract pollinators? Bee, butterflies, and birds are some of the best know pollinators, but did you know moths, flies and bats can pollinate plants too. Creating a garden that will appeal to pollinator can be as easy as adding a container to the patio or a complex selection of nectar and host plants. Most garden center will a section of plants devoted to butterflies. That’s always a good place to start. Check out some books from the library and do a little research. Have fun!
