Ohio Butterflies

Some fun trivia about the Ohio butterflies and moths. What is the most common butterfly found in Ohio? Cabbage White What is the state butterfly? At this time there is no butterfly designated as the state butterfly there is a state insect—the lady bug. What is the largest moth in the state? The Cecropia moth is not only the largest in Ohio but in the United States. What butterfly is now making a come back in northern Ohio, thanks to Toledo Zoo? The Karner Blue.
