New Arrival

Saw a Polyphemus Moth today. This is one of the most common of the silk moths. These moths can be found although out the United State. The larva of this moth will feed on elm, oak, birch, hickory and maple. It is a little early to see the Polyphemus because most of these broadleaf trees have not leafed out just yet. But it is a nice sign that spring is on the way.
