Hummingbird or Moth?

This is a moth. It is the hummingbird clearwing moth (Hemaris thysbe) This is a day flying moth. It is also one of just a few moths that feed as an adult. The hummingbird clearwing moth has been seen nectaring on flowers in the garden area as well as the prairie at Cox Arboretum MetroPark. When it’s first spotted it may be confused with a humming bird or even a bumble bee.
