Bengals add cornerback to offseason roster
Cornerback David Pender has been added to the Bengals’ offseason roster and now counts toward the squad limit of 80 players. Pender has been with the Bengals since Dec. 28 of last year, when he was claimed on waivers from Indianapolis, but he was under an NFL roster exemption from Dec. 29 until yesterday, when the exemption expired.
Pender, from Purdue, played in three games as a rookie last season for Indianapolis. He is classified a first-year NFL player in 2011.
