Source: Marvin Lewis likely to stay

It appears that Marvin Lewis isn’t done yet in Cincinnati.

While it is not confirmed that he will remain as the Bengals’ head coach, a team source with knowledge of the situation said all signs point to Lewis returning.

After two Tuesday morning meetings, it wasn’t known if or when the two sides would meet again. However, the sides expect to resolve any issues within the next 24 hours.

Check back later for updates.

Need to hear it from Mike Brown or Marvin.

Marvin has been open about his willingness to be a part of the organization if Mike Brown would concede to his desires for upgrades to the practice facility (being the only northern team without an indoor facility) and improvements in the player development program (ie hiring more scouts and hopefully a GM). Should Marvin stay, all signs would point to a positive future for the Bengals organization because Mikey-boy Brown, after 19 years of miserable ownership, will finally get out of his own way and allow the football decisions to be made by real football people.

Maybe next year we should set our expetations low and the Bengals will probably win the division. If the Bengals hire a GM this entire season served it’s purpose. I highly doubt this will happen but maybe Brown is also sick of not having a superbowl ring.
