Bengals: Ocho fined $20K, safety Williams done, Purify activated

The $1 bill Chad Ochocinco offered an NFL official during the Bengals’ win over Baltimore Sunday, Nov. 8 is going to cost him $20,000.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the NFL has fined Ochocinco $20,000 for the gag.

In other news, the Bengals announced on Twitter that safety Roy Williams has been put on injured reserve, ending his season, and wide receiver Maurice Purify has been added to the active roster. Williams has not played for several weeks because of an injured forearm.

Second-round pick Jerome Simpson was also a candidate to get moved to the active roster, but it will be Purify who gets a chance to fill-in for Chris Henry, whose season is over after having surgery on his broken forearm.
