Bengals avoid blackout; free tickets for members of military
To the surprise of no one, the Bengals announced Friday afternoon that Sunday’s home game against the Ravens will not be blacked out, according to a Twitter posting by the team.
Details about how the team avoided the blackout have yet to be released, but the game will air locally. Cincinnati has now sold out 49 consecutive regular season and playoff games at Paul Brown Stadium.
The Bengals, Local 12 (CBS affiliate WKRC-TV in Cincinnati) and Kroger worked together to ensure the blackout would be lifted. In honor of Veterans’ Day, Kroger will give away 500 tickets (250 pairs of tickets) to members of the Military, according to a press release from the team.
The tickets for the Military will be distributed at the following five Kroger stores Saturday, Nov. 7 during the hours designated below:
*Kroger Lebanon - (11 a.m.-noon)
*Kroger Union (11 a.m.-noon)
*Kroger Hyde Park (10-11 a.m.)
*Kroger Anderson Towne Center (1-2 p.m.)
*Kroger Fairborn (11 a.m.-noon)

Hey Colt fan if you hate the Bengals so much, why do you read the ddn.com, why not read an Indy paper? Or should we be impressed that you are reading at all?

Colts is just trying to pick fights. He misses his mamma’s breast feeding. He has to pick the “safe” teams b/c he’s afraid people might judge his choice in football and confirm he’s an idiot. Speaking of that, I wasn’t aware NFL teams were ranked. How can they be # 1 ?

Colts fan is a c******s. Don’t be mad hoosier that you lost your 2 best DB’s this week. We will see how the Colts handle Andre Johnson now. Post again when Indy plays a good team, and wins.

WHODEY think they’re foolin? the benGALS are gonna blow it like they do every season. if by some miracle they make it to the playoffs (which they wont). we’ll see who’s got the better team, The Colts, or The benGALS. until then shut ya mouth and keep hoping they dont screw up. i bet the Cincinnati bearcats could beat the benGals. (not the football team, The basketball team!) haha
