Raitt, Staples coming to Fraze
Singer-songwriter-guitarist Bonnie Raitt will appear in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Fraze Pavilion in Kettering.
Mavis Staples will also appear as a special guest.
Tickets for Raitt, who has a new album out called “Slipstream,” are $65.60 for plaza seats, $55.50 for the center orchestra, $50.50 for the side orchestra and $40.50 for lawn and terrace.
They go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Fraze box office, 696 Lincoln Park Blvd., and at www.fraze.com, www.etix.com or Charge-by-Phone at (800) 514-3849.
Tickets will also go on sale for two other recent additions to the summer 2012 season at Fraze:
The Country Throwdown Tour on Saturday, June 2, will include a free music festival beginning at 3 p.m. in Lincoln Park Commons, featuring Eric Paslay and Sunny Sweeney, followed at 7:30 p.m. by a ticketed concert with headliners Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins and Josh Thompson. Those seats are $55, $50, $45 and $35.
Alice Cooper will return to the outdoor Kettering stage as part of his “No More Mr. Nice Guy Tour” at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13. Prices are $59.50, $49.50 and $27.50.
