FilmDayton, DATV offer joint signup
DATV and FilmDayton, which both offer area residents opportunities to learn and produce visual media, have instituted a joint membership to encourage interaction.
The cost to join both organizations for a year is $70.
DATV executive director Steve Ross called it a “win-win scenario” and a “perfect marriage” for the community forum, which provides training, equipment and broadcast facilities to local residents.
Executive director Megan Cooper said FilmDayton’s expertise in networking, advocacy and educational programming meshes with and complements DATV’s services.
Those who buy a membership with DATV or FilmDayton at the $70 level will be given a certificate to redeem for a membership with the other.
